The sixth edition of the Khelo India Winter Games commenced today in Leh, Ladakh, with participation from 21 States and Union Territories. Around 1,000 participants, including 472 athletes, are competing in ice hockey and skating events.
The games are being organised by the Youth Services and Sports Department of Ladakh under the guidance of the Sports Authority of India. Ladakh has hosted the national-level winter games since their inception in 2020.
