Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the 6th Quad Summit in Wilmington, Delaware on September 21, 2024, hosted by US President Joe Biden and also attended by H.E. Mr. Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Australia and Japan.
The Quad made major announcements such as the "Quad Cancer Moonshot" and the "Maitri Maritime Initiative", which aim to promote the well-being, security, and development of the Indo-Pacific region.
The Quad welcomed the hosting of the next summit by India in 2025 and adopted the 'Quad Wilmington Declaration', which is important to advance the Quad agenda.
