The 24th International Mother Teresa Awards Ceremony, organized by the All-India Minority and Weaker Sections Council, was held outside India for the second time, both instances in Dubai, to commemorate the 114th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa.
The awards recognized exceptional individuals across various fields, including education, science, culture, sports, social work, medicine, industry, and politics, highlighting significant contributions from a diverse group of awardees globally.

A second effusive eruption began at Piton de la Fournaise on La Réunion on February 13, with lava flowing down the Grandes Pentes slopes.
