The 15th India–Vietnam Defence Policy Dialogue took place in Hanoi on November 10, 2025, co-chaired by Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh and Vietnam’s Deputy Defence Minister Sr Lt Gen Hoang Xuan Chien. Both nations signed an MoU for Mutual Submarine Search and Rescue Support and a Letter of Intent to boost defence industry collaboration. Key discussions included cybersecurity, AI, military medicine, and regional security. The next Defence Policy Dialogue will be held in India in 2026, further strengthening bilateral defence cooperation under the Act East Policy.
