The three-day 12th World Hindi Conference will be held in Fiji from the 15th of February.
The Conference is being organised by the Ministry of External Affairs in association with the Government of Fiji.
The main theme of the Conference is 'Hindi: From Traditional Knowledge to Artificial Intelligence'.
It is for the first time that Fiji will be hosting the conference. English, Fijian and Fijian Hindi are the three official languages of Fiji.
The first world Hindi conference to popularize Hindi as a global language was held in Nagpur in 1975. Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India.
