  • The three-day 12th World Hindi Conference will be held in Fiji from the 15th of February. 
  • The Conference is being organised by the Ministry of External Affairs in association with the Government of Fiji.
  • The main theme of the Conference is 'Hindi: From Traditional Knowledge to Artificial Intelligence'.
  • It is for the first time that Fiji will be hosting the conference. English, Fijian and Fijian Hindi are the three official languages of Fiji.
  • The first world Hindi conference to popularize Hindi as a global language was held in Nagpur in 1975. Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India.
