The 10th edition of the International Film Festival of Shimla (IFFS) began on 16th August 2024 at Gaiety Theatre, the festival was held till 18th August.
The mission of the film festival is to showcase the best of the world and develop an interest in good cinema among the youth and to provide a platform for independent filmmakers and promote Indian regional cinema.
The festival is being organised by Himalayan Velocity in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the state's Department of Language and Culture (LAC).
