₹1 Lakh Crore RDI Scheme Cleared to Boost Private-Led Innovation in Critical Sectors:

In a move to elevate India's innovation ecosystem, the Union Cabinet approved the Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme with a funding pool of ₹1 lakh crore. The scheme promotes private sector-led R&D in strategic sectors, provides support for high-TRL projects, helps acquire critical technologies, and includes plans to establish a dedicated Deep-Tech Fund of Funds.
