The SBI PO Exam or State Bank of India Probationary Officer Exam is a national-level examination held once a year. The SBI conducted an SBI PO Exam to select eligible candidates for the positions of Probationary Officer. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the SBI PO exam online using the official website. For the SBI PO 2021 exam, candidate’s applicants should be from 21 years to 30 years. The exam of SBI PO is divided into the three phases - preliminary exam, mains exam, and Interview or Interview & Group Exercises. Applicants who pass these exams will be posted as PO or Probationary Officers in various branches of the SBI bank. SBI PO exam syllabus for preliminary examination contains the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability, while the mains examination divided into two sections, first is Objective Type and the second one is descriptive type. For mains objective syllabus includes English, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and Data Analysis & Interpretation and for mains descriptive type syllabus includes Letter writing and essay. Essential Educational Qualifications (as on 31-12-2021):
A bachelor's degree in any subject or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or the Central government.
Those in their final year/semester of study may also apply provisionally, subject to the requirement that, if invited for an interview, they present proof of passing their graduation exams on or before December 31, 2021.
Applicants with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must guarantee that their IDD was completed on or before December 31, 2021.
Candidates having Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant degrees also are invited to apply.
Age limit (as on 01-04-2021):
The age limit of the applicants should be from 21 years to 30 years.
* Candidates must have been born between the dates of 02 April 1999 and 02 April 1991 (both days inclusive).*

Scheme of SBI PO Selection Procedure:
The procedure of recruitment will be divided into three phases:
• Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
• Phase-II: Mains Exam
• Phase-III: Group Exercise & Interview.
SBI PO Phase-I: Preliminary Examinations

SBI PO Phase-II: Mains Examinations
The main examination will be held online and will consist of 200 marks Objective Tests and a 50 marks Descriptive Test.

(B) DESCRIPTIVE TYPE
The English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) Test will consist of a 30-minute descriptive test with two questions for 50 marks.
**Candidates will be required to type their answers to the Descriptive Test on a computer. The Descriptive Test will be given immediately following the completion of the Objective Test**.
SBI PO Phase-III: Interview or Group Excercise
Phase-III may consist of
(i) Interview will be 50 marks OR
(ii) Interview & Group Exercises will be 30 marks & 20 marks respectively.
Candidates must achieve minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be determined by the Bank.
Final Selections:
Candidates must qualify in both Phases II and III to be considered for the final round. To create the final merit list, the marks scored in the Mains Exam (Phase-II), both in the Objective and the Descriptive Tests, will be added to the marks scored in Phase-III. When creating the final merit list for selection, the marks received in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added.

Step 3: Choose 'Latest Announcements.'
Step 4: Just go to the official notification and then click on 'Apply Online' for the SBI PO Application Form.
Step 5: Choose 'Click Here for New Registration.'
Step 6: Carefully read the instructions before clicking 'Continue.'
Step 7: Enter your basic information, such as your name, your phone number, and your email address.
Step 8: Enter the security code and press the 'Save & Next' button. At this point, you will be given a Provisional Registration Number and Password, which will be provided to you through SMS and email. Make a note of them.
Step 9: Upload scanned images of your signature and photograph in the specified dimensions, then click 'Next' button.
Step 10: Fill out the form with the post you apply for, your category, and other personal information. Enter your postal address as well as your PIN code. Validate the information and then click 'Save & Next' button.
Step 11: Fill out your educational and experience information, etc. Validate them and then click 'Save & Next' button.
Step 12: Double-check all of the information you've entered. Check the box next to the declaration statement if everything is accurate. Also, double-check your signature. Click the 'Final Submit' button.
Step 13: Upload a scanned image of a handwritten declaration in the format specified.
Step 14: Pay the SBI PO application fee and print out the application form and confirmation page for future reference.
