IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Notification 2025: Notification, Eligibility, Exam pattern, Important Dates

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, or IBPS, is a national exam held once a year. The IBPS conducted a Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for RRB to recruit applicants for Group “A” - Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” - Office Assistant (Multipurpose) positions.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online using the official website.Candidates who pass these exams will be considered for the IBPS RRB Officers Scale-I. In addition to English and Hindi, the preliminary and main examinations will be held in other regional languages.

Essential Educational Qualifications: 

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent

Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal

Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;

Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s*

Desirable: working knowledge of Computer.

Age limit (As on 01.09. 2025):

For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager):

The applicants must be between the ages of 18 years - 30 years.

*Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1995 and later than 01.09.2007 (both dates inclusive)*.

I. The questions on the papers will be of the objective type.

II. Each question will be carried one mark.

III. Each incorrect answer will 1/4th marks deduction.

IV. Candidates must qualify in both examinations by achieving IBPS-determined cut-off marks.

Cut Off Score:

For Officers Scale-I - To be considered for an interview, each candidate will need to achieve a minimum score in each test of the Online Main examination.

Interview: 

Officers Scale-I, II, and III interviews will be conducted by Participating Banks and organised by the Nodal Bank in each State/UT with the assistance of IBPS. The shortlisted candidates will be informed of the centre, address of the venue, time and date of the interview in the call letter.

• The total number of marks allotted for the interview is 100.

• The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be as per the guidelines for Officers Scale I, II, and III.

• The weightage (ratio) of the Online Main Examination and also the interview will be 80:20.

Provisional Allotment

On completion of the interview process/main examination, based on the vacancies to be filled as per the professional requirements of RRBs and reported to IBPS, the shortlisted candidates will be given merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Reservation Policy Guidelines, as well as other guidelines issued by the government of India and others from time to time, administrative exigencies, etc.

Candidates can make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only. Candidates must keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges.

2- Navigate to the CRP RRBs Link: Click on the link for "CRP RRBs" (Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks).

3- Select the Application Link: Click on the link for "Apply Online for Recruitment of Officers Scale-I, II & III under CRP-RRBs..."

4- New Registration:

Click on "Click here for New Registration".

Enter your basic information like Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID.

A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID and Mobile Number.

5- Upload Documents (Pre-Requisites): Log in using the generated credentials and upload the scanned copies of the following documents as per the specified format and size guidelines:

Signature (Should not be in capital letters)

Left Thumb Impression

Handwritten Declaration (The exact text will be provided in the official notification, and it must be written by the candidate in English with black ink).

6- Fill the Application Form: Complete the detailed application form by entering:

Personal details (Category, Religion, Nationality, etc.)

Educational Qualifications (Graduation details, percentage, etc.)

Work Experience (if any)

Preferred Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in order of preference.

7- Preview and Validate: Preview the entire application form and carefully verify all the details entered before final submission. Click on "Validate your details" to check for any errors.

8- Pay Application Fee: Pay the required application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or other available options. The fee amount is generally different for General/OBC/EWS and SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

9-Final Submission and Print: After successful payment, the application will be finally submitted. Download and take a printout of the e-receipt and the final submitted application form for your records.
