The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) released the notification to recruit candidates for the post of Radio Operator. The Board is going to fill 2430 posts with this examination. There are a total of three posts under UP Police Radio Operator i.e. Assistant Operator, Workshop hand, and Head Operator. The Assistant Operator has 1374 posts, Work Shop Hand has 120 posts, and Head Operator has 936 posts.
Candidates belonging to 18 to 22 years of age and having an intermediate degree were eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Operator. Candidates belonging to 20 to 28 years of age and having an intermediate degree were eligible to apply for the post of Work Shop Hand. Candidates belonging to 20 to 28 years of age and having a Diploma degree were eligible to apply for the post of Head Operator.
The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of an offline written test. The exam will be held for the duration of 2 hours 30 minutes for a total of 400 marks followed by the PST/PET round. The written exam syllabus of the Radio Operator contains General Hindi, Science and General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude/IQ Test/Reasoning Test.
To fill the application form for Radio Operator, the candidates have to pay a requisite application fee which has been set up by the exam conducting authority.
