The UPSSSC (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission) has issued a PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) examination advertisement for the first-time position for different Group C recruitments in Uttar Pradesh, and these exams are conducted by the UPSSSC. The objective of PET is to replace the preliminary exam for all Group C recruitments. Group C recruitments were announced in various departments under the control of Uttar Pradesh. To be eligible for this UPSSSC PET 2021 examination, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 40 and have passed the matriculation examination/ intermediate examination or any examination recognized as equal thereto. Candidates who apply for the UPSSSC PET examination will have to go through only a written examination. The UPSSSC PET written examination will consist of 15 different topics: Indian History, Indian National Movement, Geography, Indian Economy, Indian Constitution, and Public Administration, General Science, Elementary arithmetic, General Hindi, General English, Logic & Reasoning, Current affairs, General awareness, Hindi unseen passage Explanation, and analysis, Graph Interpretation & Analysis and Table Interpretation and Analysis. Applicants must complete the application form online. Candidates applying for the post of UPSSSC PET examination recruitment must pay an application fee. The fee for GEN/ OBC candidates will be Rs. 185/-, for SC/ST candidates will be Rs. 95 and for PWD candidates will be Rs. 25 to fill out the application form for the UPSSSC PET examination. Educational Qualification for UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam (Preliminary Eligibility Test):
• Candidates who have completed their 10th grade/ equivalent or higher educational qualification are eligible to apply for the UPSSSC PET 2021.
Important Note:
Those posts of compulsory qualification less than the High School or its equivalent that fall within the purview of the Commission, if their requisition is obtained, a separate examination/ skill test/ physical examination shall be conducted by the Commission\'s decision in respect of them, the information of which will be provided on the Commission\'s website in due course.
Age Limit (as of 1st July 2021) for UPSSSC PET 2022:
The age limit of the applicants should be between 18 years to 40 years.
*Candidates should be born between 30 June 1982 and 01 July 2004. (both dates inclusive)*

• The candidates shortlisted on the basis of the score of the preliminary qualifying examination will be requisitioned for various types of relevant posts from different departments for the main examination and the minimum/maximum age will be allowed as per the service rules.

UPSSC PET Score Card Validity:
• The scorecard of the candidates participating in the Preliminary Eligibility Test will be valid for 01 year from the date of uploading of the result on the Commissions website.
