On June 12, 2022, the 2020–21 cycle's UP Police SI Final Selection Cut-Off and Results were made public. One of the most esteemed positions in the UP Police department is the Sub Inspector recruitment. Each year, a large number of candidates take this exam. Candidates who apply for the UP Police SI 2021 recruitment will have to go through a three-stage selection process (Online Exam, Documentation & Physical Standards Test, and Physical Efficiency Test).
The UP Police SI 2021 written exam will consist of four different papers: General Knowledge, Mental Aptitude /Intelligence /Reasoning, Numerical & Mental Ability Test, and General Hindi. Applicants must complete the application form online. Candidates applying for the post of UP Police SI 2021 Recruitment must pay an application fee. The fee for all candidates will be Rs. 400/-. Candidates must first meet the eligibility criteria established by the exam conducting authority in order to apply for the UP Police SI Exam 2021.

Essential Educational Qualifications:
(A) Sub Inspector:
Bachelor's degree (Graduation) from an Indian university established by law, or any equivalent qualification recognised by the government.
(B) Platoon Commander or PAC
Bachelor's degree (Graduation) from an Indian university established by law, or any equivalent qualification recognised by the government.
(C) Fire Officer Second
Bachelor's degree (Graduation) in Science from an Indian university established by law, or any equivalent qualification recognised by the government.
Preferential Qualifications:
• Possess 'O' Level Certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELIT Society, or
• Have served for at least two years served in the Territorial Army, or
• Possess 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps
Age limit:
The age limit of the applicants should be between 21 years to 28 years.
*Candidates should be born between 01 July 1993 and 01 July 2000. (both date inclusive)*
**The upper age limit for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other groups will be increased by the number of years stated in the Act and related Government regulations at the time of vacancies notification.**

Important Note:
I. Total Number of Question and Total Number of Marks are 160 and 400 respectively.
II. Duration of Examination is 120 minutes.

V. The candidates will score at least 35% marks in each section and overall 50% marks.

UP Police SI : Physical Efficiency Test
• The candidates found successful in the scrutiny of records and in the physical standard test will be expected to appear in the physical efficiency test which will be of qualifying nature.
• To be successful in the Physical Efficiency Test, a Male Candidate will have to Run a 4.8 km run in 28 minutes and a Female Candidate will have to Run a 2.4 km run in 6 minutes.
UP Police SI : Medical exam
• Medical examination will be done by the Medical Council constituted by the Chief Medical Officer as per the Medical Manual and 'Police Recruitment Medical Examination Form'.
• Candidates found unsuccessful in the medical test will be declared unfit by the appointing authority and such vacancies will be carried forward for further selection.
