Candidates who are eager to be appointed as Constable under the Police Department of Uttar Pradesh are informed the application form has be released officially. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the advertisement for recruitment under Constable in which there are a total of 60244 posts. Essential Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed Class XII passed by a Board established by law in India or its equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
Preferential Qualifications:
• Possess \'O\' Level Certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELIT Society, or
• Have served for at least two years served in the Territorial Army, or
• Possess \'B\' certificate of National Cadet Corps
Age limit:
For Male Category Candidates:
The age limit of the applicants should be between 18 years to 22 years.

For Female Category Candidates:
The age limit of the applicants should be between 18 years to 25 years.

UP Police Constable : Physical Efficiency Test
• The candidates found successful in the scrutiny of records and in the physical standard test will be expected to appear in the physical efficiency test which will be of qualifying nature.
• To be successful in the Physical Efficiency Test, a Male Candidate will have to Run a 4.8 km run in 25 minutes and a Female Candidate will have to Run a 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.

3-You will go to a page for registration as new candidates will be required to register first.
4-Fill in the details with all of the necessary information.
5-Upon successful registration, the candidates can activate their account through the OTP sent to their registered mobile number or registered email id.
6-Once the candidate’s account is activated, he/she can subsequently login with their Registration number and DOB and make the payment. Once the payment is successful candidate is required to upload his/her recent passport sized photograph(35mm x 45mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 20 kb but not more than 50 kb) and a scanned copy of their signature(35mm x 15 mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 5 kb but not more than 20kb).
7-Candidate must upload his/her 10th and 12th certificates, other relevant documents related to selection done during filling primary registration and complete their registration process and then take print of the Application Form (Acknowledgement).
8-Remember to keep a printout of your application receipt for future reference.
