Summary

In time to time, The Indian Army releases vacany for General duty (GD) soldiers. GD section includes the Rifleman, the land defence force, fighting troops, drivers, etc. In order to join the Indian Army you must have the required educational qualifiaction and Physical qualities. 

Recruitment Process: Recruitment process will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will be Online Common Entrance Exam at Computer Based Test Centres spread pan India and Phase 2 will be Recruitment Rally by AROs at Rally Venue.

Agniveer(General Duty):

Qualification: Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, min of ‘D’ grade (33% - 40%) in individual subjects or grades with33% in indl subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.

Age: 17½- 21 Yrs

Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.

Procedure for Online Registration:

(a) All candidates to log in to joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status and create their profile.

(b) Online Registration (submission of application) will commence from 13 February 2024 to 22 March 2024.

(c) Examination Fee. Examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online

examination.The candidate on successfully filling the application will be directed to SBI portal through a link on

the website. At the SBI portal make online payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable.
