· Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi has been appointed as a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) advocate at the 76th United Nations General Assembly by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
· Guterres appointed Satyarthi, STEM activist Valentina Munoz Rabnal, Microsoft President Brad Smith and K-pop superstar Blackpink as new SDG advocates. With this, there are now a total of 16 SDG advocates in the United Nations.
· India's 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Satyarthi will focus on protecting and promoting the rights of children around the world.
