Two new teams announced for IPL 2022

  • Two new teams have been announced for IPL 2022. Ahmedabad and Lucknow will be the two new teams joining the IPL. 
  • In the auction held in Dubai on Monday, RPSG Group has bought the team from Lucknow and CVC Capital Partners has bought the team from Ahmedabad.
  • Sanjeev Goenka's RPSG Group has invested in a one-time IPL. 
  • During the auction in Dubai on Monday, this group bought the team of Lucknow for 7090 crores. With this, Lucknow has become the most expensive franchise in IPL history.
