Sahdev Yadav Elected SAWF President

  • Sahdev Yadav, President of the Indian Weightlifting Federation, has been unanimously elected as the President of the South Asian Weightlifting Federation (SAWF). He was elected unopposed during the SAWF elections. His appointment strengthens India’s leadership in regional sports governance and is expected to boost cooperation among South Asian countries.
  • Yadav currently serves as Treasurer of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Vice President of the Commonwealth Weightlifting Federation, and Assistant to the President of the Asian Weightlifting Federation. Additionally, Sabina Yadav has been appointed as CEO of SAWF. Her role is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and innovation in the federation.
