Razia Sultan and Nur Jahan Removed from New Class 8 NCERT History Book:

Influential historical women such as Razia Sultan of the Delhi Sultanate and Nur Jahan of the Mughal era have been excluded from the new Class 8 NCERT social science textbook for the academic year 2025–26. Earlier taught in Class 7, this historical period is now part of the new Class 8 syllabus, but their contributions have not been mentioned.
