नीति आयोग ने “समावेशी सामाजिक विकास के लिए आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI)” नामक महत्वाकांक्षी रिपोर्ट जारी की है, जो भारत के 4.9 करोड़ अनौपचारिक श्रमिकों—देश की अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़—के जीवन को बदलने में एआई और अत्याधुनिक तकनीकों के उपयोग पर केंद्रित है। यह अध्ययन डेलॉइट के सहयोग से तैयार किया गया है और इसमें बताया गया है कि केवल एआई अनौपचारिक क्षेत्र में मौजूद संरचनात्मक बाधाओं को हल नहीं कर सकता; इसके लिए सक्रिय मानव प्रयास, समन्वित कार्रवाई और एक सक्षम पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र आवश्यक है।
