India and Indonesia held their 3rd Defence Ministers’ Dialogue in New Delhi, co-chaired by Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh and Indonesian Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin. The two sides reaffirmed their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and stressed the need for a free, open and peaceful Indo-Pacific. They agreed to enhance cooperation in maritime security, cyber resilience, defence industry, joint exercises and submarine capability. Both nations reiterated support for peace in Palestine, while India also announced gifting horses and a ceremonial carriage to Indonesia.
