· The Ministry of Defense, Government of India and the US Department of Defense have signed a Project Agreement (PA) for the Air-Launched Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (ALUAV).
· The agreement has been signed under the Joint Working Group on Air Systems in Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI).
· The PA for the ALUAV is part of the Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) MoU, first signed between the Defense Ministry and the US Department of Defense in January 2006 and renewed in January 2015.
