  • Senior IAS officer and CEO of Digital India Corporation Abhishek Singh has been appointed as the CEO of the new National e-Governance Division (NeGD).
  • The 1995-batch IAS officer from Nagaland cadre will hold the position in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
  • NeGD is an independent business division set up within Media Lab Asia by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for program management of NeGP.
