The Gujarat government will launch the Industrial Policy-2026 on 15 June 2026 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi will unveil the policy, which focuses on investment, employment, innovation, and sector-specific incentives. It introduces an ultra-mega industrial unit category (minimum ₹10,000 crore investment and 3,000 jobs) offering up to 40% capital incentives. Thrust sectors will expand from 9 to 16, including semiconductors, textile recycling, nuclear equipment, and drones. Project THRIVE will support relocation of industries from urban areas.
