Former Australian pacer Shaun Tait appointed as Puducherry's bowling coach

·         Former Australia fast bowler Shaun Tait has been appointed as the bowling coach of the Puducherry cricket team, according to a source in the Cricket Association of Pondicherry.

·         Tait is involved in a coaching team, which includes head coach Dishant Yagnik and manager and strength and conditioning coach Kalpendra Jha.

·         The former Australia player was recently appointed as the bowling coach of the Afghanistan team for a period of five months.

About Saun Tait:

v  Tait, who played three Tests, 35 ODIs and 21 T20 Internationals for Australia, also played for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL during his playing career.

v  The pacer was instrumental in Australia's World Cup victory in the West Indies in 2007, taking 23 wickets.
