"CRPF Day" will be celebrated on March 19

  • The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has decided to celebrate March 19 as the CRPF Day Parade every year.
  • The parade held to mark the occasion will also be called ‘CRPF Day Parade’ instead of ‘Anniversary Day Parade’.
  • The way a grand parade is held on Army Day, in the same way now every year on March 19, 'CRPF Day Parade' will be organized.
  • Sardar Patel presented the flag i.e. President Colors to the CRPF on 19th March in 1950. CRPF is the only paramilitary force in the country which was established before independence.
