Army officer Sripada Sriram sets Guinness world record by doing 'fastest solo cycling' from Leh to Manali

·        Indian Army officer Lt Col Sripada Sriram has set a new Guinness World Record for 'Fastest Solo Cycling (Men)' by covering a distance of 472 km from Leh to Manali in just 34 hours.

·        He covered a total distance of 472 kilometers with a total height of about 8,000 metres.

·        The event was part of the 'Golden Victory Year' celebrations and was organized to mark the 195th Gunners Day.

·        India is celebrating the 'Golden Victory Year' to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its victory against Pakistan in the 1971 war.
