Air Marshal VR Chaudhary to be the next Chief of Indian Air Force

·         The government appointed Air Marshal V.R. Chaudhary, who is currently the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, has been decided to be the next Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force.

·         He will take charge on 30th of this month after the retirement of Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria.

·         Air Marshal VR Choudhary was commissioned into the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force on 29 December 1982 and has currently held various command, staff and instructional appointments at various levels as the Vice Chief of Air Staff.

·         Air Marshal Chaudhary has been awarded the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and Vayu Sena Medal.
