Air India chief Rajiv Bansal appointed as Civil Aviation Secretary

·       Air India Chairman Rajiv Bansal has been appointed as the new aviation secretary as part of a major top-level bureaucratic reshuffle carried out by the central government.

·       As Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Rajaraman has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications and Ministry of Personnel.

·       Rajaraman will replace Anshu Prakash as additional secretary, who is due to retire on September 30.
