Aerial version of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile successfully test-fired

  • The air version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile has been successfully tested from the Sukhoi 30 MK-I supersonic fighter aircraft.
  • The test was conducted from the Odisha coast's Integrated Test Range, Chandipur.
  • In July 2021, the air version of the BrahMos was tested for the last time.
  • The BrahMos is a collaboration between India (DRDO) and Russia (NPOM) for the development, production, and marketing of a supersonic cruise missile.
