VinSpace–SpaceX satellite launch contract

Vietnamese aerospace firm VinSpace signed a contract with SpaceX on 11 August 2026.
First satellites to launch in 2027 on SpaceX Transporter rideshare mission.
VinSpace was established in November 2025 with 300 billion dong (~US$11.4 million) capital; a unit of Vingroup, majority-owned by Pham Nhat Vuong.
Plans internal research, development and operation of microsatellites (10–100 kg class).
Roadmap set in April 2026 for first microsatellite by 2027.
Vietnam inaugurated a space science & technology centre at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, Hanoi (March 2026).
