Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari took oath as West Bengal Chief Minister on May 9, 2026, at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground.
PM Narendra Modi and top NDA leaders attended the ceremony.
BJP won 207 seats in the 294-member Assembly, ending TMC’s 15-year rule (reduced to 80 seats).
