Skyroot Aerospace successfully launched the Vikram-1 rocket under Mission Aagaman from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, marking India's first privately developed orbital-class rocket launch. The mission successfully placed multiple technology payloads into a 450-km Low Earth Orbit (LEO), making India the third country in the world to achieve a private orbital launch. Built using lightweight carbon composites and powered by 3D-printed engines, Vikram-1 is capable of carrying payloads of up to 350 kg into Low Earth Orbit, representing a major milestone for India's private space industry.
