Retired Karnataka High Court judge Justice Ramachandra Dattatray Huddar was appointed Chairperson of the Admission Overseeing Committee (AOC) on May 8, 2026.
He replaced Justice B. Manohar whose term ended in October 2024.
AOC oversees admissions to engineering, medical, dental, and other professional courses in Karnataka.
Justice Huddar served as Additional Judge (2023) and Permanent Judge (2025) of Karnataka High Court; retired August 2025.
Earlier held key roles as Principal District Judge and Director of Karnataka Judicial Academy.
