  • The missile was launched over a 3,560 km danger zone in the Bay of Bengal.
  • Followed the Tactical Advanced Range Augmentation glide weapon trial on May 7.
  • Abdul Kalam Island is DRDO’s primary missile test facility. ICBMs have a range exceeding 5,500 km.
