Pilot Launch: NHAI launched the first MLFF system at Chorayasi Toll Plaza on the Surat–Bharuch stretch (NH-48) in Gujarat.
Seamless Travel: The system eliminates physical booths, using ANPR and FASTag tech to deduct tolls at highway speeds without stopping.
Efficiency: Over 41,500 vehicles passed through on day one, reducing congestion, fuel consumption, and CO2 emissions.
Compliance: Failure to pay e-notices within 72 hours results in double charges and potential FASTag blacklisting via the VAHAN platform.
