  • The 3rd Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) on Healthcare between India and Japan was held on 5th May 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The meeting was co-chaired by Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Ms. Kimi Onoda, Minister in charge of Healthcare Policy, Japan.
  • Shri Nadda highlighted the India-Japan Memorandum of Cooperation in Healthcare and Wellness, stressing the shared vision of strengthening health systems, improving accessibility, and promoting innovation. He reiterated India’s commitment to inclusive development under “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” Discussions focused on prevention and management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and building resilient supply chains for high-quality medical products and services.
