The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) successfully conducted the two-day Coastal Security Exercise Sagar Kavach-02/25 along the Maharashtra and Goa coastline. The exercise involved over 6,000 personnel, 115+ sea and air assets, and 32 central and state agencies, including ports and coastal authorities. It demonstrated strong operational readiness, inter-agency coordination, and capabilities to counter threats from Anti-National Elements. Naval ships, aircraft, helicopters, ACVs, and police and fisheries boats were deployed to enhance coastal security preparedness and multi-layered maritime response.
