CA Day, also known as Chartered Accountants Day, is observed annually on 1 July 2026 (Wednesday) across India.
It marks the 77th Foundation Day of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), established on 1 July 1949 under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949.
ICAI, the second-largest accounting body globally with over 3.5 lakh members, regulates the profession and upholds high ethical standards.
The day honours CAs for their contributions to auditing, taxation, financial advisory, corporate governance, and economic growth through seminars, awards, and awareness programmes.
