  • IIT Hyderabad and Crimson Energy Experts Pvt. Ltd. launched ANUGYAN, India’s first industry-academia Nuclear Technology Orientation Programme, on 3 August 2026. The three-month fully residential course at the IIT Hyderabad campus offers joint certification and covers reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, radiation shielding, Small Modular Reactors, nuclear safety, AERB compliance and simulator training.
  • The initiative follows an MoU signed during Bharat Innovate 2026 and is linked to the Centre of Design Excellence in Nuclear Engineering (CODENE). It targets professionals from research institutions, PSUs, EPC firms and manufacturing industries as India aims for about 100 GWe nuclear capacity by 2047 from the present 8.8 GWe.
