Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a major public safety initiative in Raipur by flagging off advanced Dial 112 emergency response vehicles and forensic mobile vans. The upgraded system now covers all 33 districts of Chhattisgarh, expanding from the previous 16 districts.
The fleet includes 400 advanced emergency response vehicles, 33 surveillance vehicles, and 60 highway patrol vehicles. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, and Assembly Speaker Raman Singh were present at the event. This expansion is expected to significantly improve emergency response times and citizen safety across the state.
