  • The 47th Raising Day of Project Chetak was celebrated in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
  • Executed by Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Project Chetak was established in 1980 and covers Rajasthan, Punjab and northern Gujarat.
  • It maintains over 4,000 km of roads and 214 km of ditch-cum-bund along the western border.
  • The project supports troop movement, logistics and border infrastructure development.
  • Motto: “Chetak ka Prayas, Desh ka Vikas”; BRO’s overall motto is “Shramena Sarvam Sadhyam”.
